Decelerine® (3.0%)

“Reduced Frequency of Shaving or Depilation in Female Legs Up to 82%”

In a clinical study conducted in Europe, researchers had women apply a 3% concentration of Decelerine® each day. On the study's conclusion, the study leads noted that body hair was decreased on their legs to the extent that the women enjoyed a drastic 82% reduction in their need to shave their legs.

Other notable findings from the study:

• Reduced frequency of shaving or depilation in female groin up to 70%
• Reduced frequency of shaving or depilation in female armpit up to 50%

A topical compound and plant derivative of lauric acid (found in coconut and palm kernel oil), Decelerine® is an active ingredient in Stop Grow™ that seeks out germinating cells in hair follicles where it's applied and interrupts the anagen, or “growth” phase of unwanted body hair.

At the same time, it has anti-inflammatory properties that make it ideal to soothe skin post-epilation.

Telocapil® (2.0%)

“Reduced Unwanted Body Hair in 93% of Participants in About 2 Months”

Telocapil® 76050 is an active ingredient in Stop Grow™ that's designed to seek out and inhibit the tyrosine kinase activity of the IGF-1 receptor when body hair growth is in its anagen phase.

In a clinical study, 15 volunteers applied a 2% concentration of Telocapil® to one leg and a placebo to the other twice daily for 63 days. Measurements of hirsuteness were taken every 21 days.

At the end of the study, Telocapil® reduced body hair in 93% of study participants. The study leads also documented:

• Telocapil® reduced overall hirsuteness by roughly 60%
• Telocapil® reduced the anagen/telogen ratio by 59%
• Telocapil® reduced thickness of body hair by almost 30%

Pilisoft™ LS 7590 (1.0%)    

“Growth of Body Hair Inhibited by 69%”            

A botanical derivative of gymnema sylvestre, Pilisoft™ LS 7590 shows eye-catching promise as an inhibitor of unwanted body hair. It's designed to reduce growth where applied and make epilation or depilation-based hair removal more comfortable, with reduced need for both.

Pilisoft™ mimics the inhibitory effects of gymnemic acids I on phosphodiesterase activity; the result of which are higher levels of cAMP linked to discouraged growth of body hair on application.

Clinical studies show that Pilisoft™ reduces cellular activity within the hair follicle, with inhibited body hair up to a very encouraging 69%.

Allantoin (.25%)

Anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant and soother of damaged skin, allantoin has been used since at least the 16th century to treat dry skin. Allantoin increases water content within the cellular matrix, helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and assists with a smooth complexion.

A common fixture in many cosmetics, allantoin occurs naturally in the comfrey plant. Its keratolytic properties make allantoin a popular treatment for warts and lesions of the skin.

DI Panthenol (.1%)

Also known as Provitamin B5 or pantothenic acid, DI Panthenol is an excellent humectant for hair and absorbs deep with the follicle to which it's applied. Like Allantoin, DI Panthenol is a moisturizer with keratolytic abilities. DI Panthenol makes hair easy to comb. And when formulated in a natural hair inhibitor, helps to reduce cellular proliferation within the follicle.

Hydrolite 5

A skin moisturizer than enhances function of the ingredients it's combined with, Hydrolite-5 pulls the active ingredients in Stop Grow™ together. Studies show that Hydrolite-5 can increase moisture retention by 100% within 14 days.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract

From the aloe plant, and one of the most versatile players in the cosmetics industry, aloe barbadensis leaf has been used for thousands of years to protect against skin damage from the sun. High in vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes, it has antibacterial and antiviral properties that may protect skin during epilation and depilation-based hair removal.

Psuedoalteromonas Ferment Extract

Sometimes called Pseudoalteromonas Antarctica, this exopolymer is proven to increase production of collagen I by 128% over 15 days, which enables it to heal the breaks in skin and microscopic irritations that sometimes occur with hair removal techniques.
